RePUTATION

Factory Noir - Feature Film

'Reputation' is an upcoming psychological crime drama set in the fictional Northern town of Dennings, in the beautifully scenic Ribble Valley.

Raw, violent and darkly comic, this is the nano-budget feature film debut of Preston-based writer/director Martin Law. Starring James Nelson-Joyce (A Thousand Blows), Kyle Rowe (The Devil's Hour), & Olivia Frances Brown (Boiling Point) the film is set for release in 2024.

Influences range from Shane Meadows’ Dead Man’s Shoes to Larry Clark’s Bully; from Eran Creevy’s Shifty to Nicolas Winding Refn’s Pusher trilogy. Co-written with Dean Gregson & Jordan Derbyshire, this is a psychological character study; an intimate look at loyalty, greed and power in Broken Britain.

’Reputation’ has been produced independently by Factory Noir on a modest budget, with funding coming from private investors.
